Issue/Introduction

OM Deliver MAKECKPT function returns the following error :- 

MAKECKPT CYLINDER=100 VOLSER=VOLUME1                             
RMOCPP02  CHECKPOINT PHYSICAL I/O ERROR - ECB=42000000

Cause

The Deliver Checkpoint file allocation was being changed from Cylinders to  tracks 

Resolution

Disable the Deliver Database and Checkpoint files from products like ALLOC Dasd Space and Placement

The Deliver allocation in this case was being changed from  cylinders to tracks which is not allowed for the Deliver files.
