The Solution License for VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) is not synchronizing with NSX.

Issue/Introduction
- VMware NSX 4.x and later supports the new Solution License for VMware Cloud Foundation (vSphere 8.0 Enterprise Plus for VCF or vSphere 8.0 Enterprise Plus for VCF Edge).
- The consumption of the Solution License for VCF in NSX is tracked based on the vCenter servers registered with the NSX deployment.
- The VCF Solution License applied in vCenter is not reflected in NSX UI -> System ->Licenses, indicating a license synchronization issue.
- nsxapi.log shows the following log snippets Hourly polling occurred continuously:

Cause
The synchronization delay is not a defect, but rather the expected behavior of the NSX licensing polling mechanism. According to the NSX architecture, the system checks for a valid VCF single license on an hourly basis. Once a valid license is successfully retrieved, the LicenseSynchronizeVCTask polling frequency shifts from hourly to once every 24 hours. However if the new license applied again before this 24 hours polling window goes off, it will reset this counter
AND/OR
The "vSphere 8 Enterprise Plus for VCF" license is currently not assigned to the “vCenter Server Systems” assets in vCenter.
Resolution
- Ensure that the newly imported "vSphere 8 Enterprise Plus for VCF" is explicitly assigned to the “vCenter Server Systems” assets under the Assets tab.
- Manually trigger the license sync using the following API call: POST https://<NSX-Manager-IP>/api/v1/licenses/vcf/action/sync
Note: This API functionality is supported only from NSX-T version 4.2 onwards. For earlier versions, the license synchronization may take up to 60 minutes.

When a customer purchases VCF, VVF they receive a vSphere key and a vCenter key. The vSphere key acts as a Solution Key, which unlocks all features when assigned to vCenter; however, to unlock the features, vCenter must be on version 8.0U2b or higher. If for any reason a customer cannot upgrade their vCenter, they can use the vCenter key instead.
