Issue/Introduction

The customer reported an issue on Evaluate JSON Path Expression V2 in the past, which was analysed by Broadcom as defect DE513040.

Broadcom provided an on-demand solution however, the patch is no longer available from the original Support Case.

Environment

API Gateway

Cause

The original issue/defect was opened for Gateway 10.1, which reached its End Of Life in June 2024.

All patches and solutions previously published for 10.1 are no longer available.

Resolution

The solution for DE513040 is now productized in supported versions of API Gateway, such as 11.x, 11.1.x 

Hence, if the customer is using 11+, there's no patch required as the defect was corrected in the build.

For lower versions of Gateway, the recommended and supported solution is to upgrade the Gateway to a currently supported version.
