Memory Usage Creeping with Remo Radram Agent Installed.

Issue/Introduction

Over time the Agent's memory consumption slowly rises and requires a restart of services to free up memory. 

Environment

• Carbon Black Application Control: All Versions
• Commercepoint Radram Agent
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Cause

The Remo Radram Agent is generating many writes to the sql, log and tmp files that require more memory to keep analyze each file. 

Resolution

1. Log in to the Console and navigate to https://<servername>/agent_config.php
2. Click Add Agent Config and use the following:
   • Name: Remo Radram Agent - Ignore SQL & Log File Ops
   • Host ID: 0
   • Value:

     kernelFileOpExclusions=*\Apps\commercepoint-radram-agent\agent\ditto\*.sql*:8388607,*\Apps\commercepoint-radram-agent\agent\ditto\*.log:8388607,*\Apps\commercepoint-radram-agent\agent\ditto\*.tmp??????:8388607

   • Platform: Windows
   • Status: Enabled
   • Create For: Select the relevant Policy/Policies where Radram Agent is installed
3. Click Save
