Clicking a bookmark to the Netops Portal Login Page causes other Portal pages open in other tabs to close

Issue/Introduction

Opened up four different tabs to different dashboards that were bookmarked in DxNetops Portal. 

Once they open the 4th tab they are logged out of all their tabs including the previous three tabs.

The 4th bookmark link pointed to a URL similar to:

https://<SERVERNAME>/sso/sign-in.jsp?SsoProductCode=pc&SsoRedirectUrl= ...

Environment

Netops Portal 22.x and up

Cause

Since Netops 21.2.12, we did a security measure that if a user goes to the login page, it will log out all sessions in that browser instance.

US824472 clears current PC session cookie on navigation to login page.

Resolution

In order to prevent getting logged out, modify the bookmark URL so that they point to the actual desired page, not the "sso/sign-in.jsp" page.

Configure Web Browser Session Settings

There's a setting called:

A user can have only one active browser session (other browser sessions are automatically logged out)
 
The default value of this is "Enabled".  Set this to "Disabled" in order to be able to open multiple tabs simulaneously.
