Unable to Install AIX Agent. Installation is stopped without error message

Issue/Introduction

Installation of Agent on AIX stops abruptly without error message.
Last lines in cadsm* logs are :

14:14:19 ++  Check disk space
14:14:19 ++  Disk space checked successfully

 

Normal logs should be :

04:56:37 ++  Check disk space
04:56:37 +++ Disk space on device "/opt" is sufficient: Available: "43012.00" MB, necessary: "90.00" MB
04:56:37 ++  Disk space checked successfully

Client Automation 14.5

Cause

The cause of this problem is lack of disk space on destination File System

Example in the log output of df -Ik :

df -Ik ===>
Filesystem    1024-blocks      Used      Free %Used Mounted on
...
/dev/hd3          1179648   1139368     40280   97% /opt

shows that there is only 40280 KB free on /opt but at least 100 MB is necessary

Resolution

Increase free disk space on file system hosting the destination path for client automation (generally /opt). 100 MB or more of free disk space is required.
