• Migration of a Windows Server 2022 Standard from one vCenter to another using converter is failing with the error: "FAILED: An error occurred during conversion"

• Power OFF conversion goes through successfully, only the Powered ON VM conversion fails

Resolution

• On the options page of the Conversion wizard, click Advanced options in the options list.
• Synchronization is available only for Windows source operating systems and managed destinations.
• Uncheck the Synchronize Changes option as below
