Missing Super metrics after patching Aggregator adapter on Aria operations Federation management pack from 2.0.0 to 2.1.0

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading the Aria operations Federation management pack from 2.0.0 to 2.1.0, the super metrics are missing in customized views.  

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Resolution

There is a known issue with the Aria Operations Federation management pack 2.1.0. There is no current fix available yet.

Workaround:

1. In Aria Operations, via Managing Content feature,  back up all the exportable data, like custom views, reports, dashboards, Super metrics, and more, before applying the Federation management pack.
   
   
2. Take Aria operations offline
   
   
3. When all the nodes show offline, create snapshots without memory. Snapshot Creation in VMware Aria Operations
   
   
4. Bring the cluster online. 
   
   
5. Apply the upgrade of the management pack.
   
   
6. Import the managed content.
