There are stale jobs found on RaaS prior to Aria Automation Config upgrade

Issue/Introduction

• Checking & clearing these jobs is mentioned in  Upgrading Automation Config:
  • select count(1) from commands where state='new';
  • If this count is nonzero, then the jobs should be cleared from this status before the upgrade is performed

Environment

• VMware Aria Automation Config 8.x / Tanzu Guardrails for Workloads (Saltstack Enterprise)

Resolution

The workaround for this issue requires modification of the RaaS database.
