Issue/Introduction

Deploying NSX Edge Cluster via the SDDC Manager UI fails at the task - "Validate IP Address Conflicts" - with the error described in the article title.

A reboot of the SDDC Manager has been completed, but this has not resolved the issue.

The deployment of the NSX Edge Cluster has also been attempted using the SDDC Manager API, but the same error is encountered.

Environment

VCF 5.2.1

Cause

A Null Pointer Exception is being encountered during NSX Edge Cluster Creation validation.

Resolution

Please open a case with Broadcom Global Support in order to have the issue addressed.
