DLP Agent EDPA Service stopped: Failed to initiaize Titanium Reputation provider [SYMRESULT 0x80010006]

DLP EDPA Agent service is stopped and in manual state.

Errors observed in the EDPA logs.

Resolution

This can happen if the DLP EDPA service is unable to access the "cx_lib.dll" file, in the "\Program Files\Manufacturer\Endpoint Agent\ICD" directory.

It's possible that this file is missing/corrupt or locked by some other security software.

Check if cx_lib.dll file exists in the "\Program Files\Manufacturer\Endpoint Agent\ICD" directory. If missing, then uninstall/install the agent.

If the file is present, then make sure all the DLP directories and executables are whitelisted from Antivirus programs as per KB https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/160045/best-practice-dlp-endpoint-agents-with-a.html
