Issue/Introduction

  • VR was deployed on ESXi and VC A and registered with VC B. 
  • That configuration cause issues with upgrade and communication.

Environment

VMware Live Recovery 9.0.2

Cause

  • It is a design requirement to register vSphere Replication or SRM with vCenter Appliance where user deployed it.
  • Registering with remote vCenter is not supported.

Resolution

  • Unregister VR at the Vami level and re register with correct vCenter.

or

  • Redeploy VR and register with correct VC.
