Issue/Introduction

Hosts previously displaying the correct vSAN Datastore Type eg vSAN ESA now show the incorrect Datastore Type vSAN after the vSAN Cluster was stretched



- Output from command Output from curl http://localhost/inventory/clusters | json_pp confirms the correct primaryDatastoreType

"primaryDatastoreType" : "VSAN_ESA",

- The correct storage policy is applied for VMs in SDDC manager management domain's primary vSAN ESA.  See KB

- Command esxcli vsan cluster get confirms vSAN ESA Enabled: true


- Fault Domains present & Cluster is seen as stretched in vSAN

SDDC 4.x
SDDC 5.x

Cause

The affected host attributes in SDDC postgres show the incorrect Datastore Type -> vSAN

 

Resolution

Contact GS to update the local DB
