When converting standard VSAN cluster to stretched cluster configure stretched cluster button is greyed-out

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

- Configure stretched cluster button is greyed-out (Configuring stretched cluster is not supported when host rebuild or operations reserve is enabled)

- Operations Reserve and/or Host Rebuild Reserve is enabled in VC web-client > VSAN Cluster > Configure > Services > Reservations and Alerts 

Environment

VSAN 8.x

Cause

The reserved capacity is not supported on a VSAN stretched cluster, cluster with fault domains and nested fault domains

 

Resolution

Workaround 

- Disable Operations Reserve and Host Rebuild Reserve in VC web-client > VSAN Cluster > Configure > Services > Reservations and Alerts
