When looking in the Windows Task Scheduler > Task Scheduler Library on the Notification Server (NS), noted that the scheduled task NS.Software Product Licensing Recalculation Schedule was missing.
We found that in the console, the associated built-in task did not have the built-in schedule created during installation of the platform. The schedule may have been manually deleted previously.
Perform a reconfigure of Asset Management Solution using the Symantec Installation Manager (SIM).
Note: To perform the repair, log in as the Application Identity Account that the platform runs as to prevent corruption of the installation.
1. Log into the NS with the Application Identity credentials
2. Click on the Repair installed products link
3. Click the Reconfigure installed products link to highlight it, and then click Next
4. Select the Altiris Asset Management Solution 8.x item by checking the box next to it and then click Next
5. Click the Configure button to start the reconfiguration.
6. Verify that the schedule is present in the task and in Task Scheduler
