Unable to change data collector to standby

Issue/Introduction

When trying to set a DC to standby mode, there is no available DC in the selection list to choose from.

Environment

DX NetOps :: All Supported Versions

Cause

Both DC’s must be set to the same capacity before you can set one as standby for the other

Resolution

Set both Data Collectors to the same capacity before trying to make one a standby system.

E.G. 

In portal, administration, Monitored Items Management, Data Collectors, capacity

• Selected: Use the data collector as a standby data collector, and populate the Available list in the Data Collector in this Standby Group section with active data collectors ("Active" status) that have the same capacity and that are within the selected IP domain.
