Issue/Introduction

When attempting to sign in to the VCF Solutions Catalog to download solutions, the following error messages may occur:

  • "403 No Access"
  • "You don't have access to application. Please check your permissions"
  • "Access is denied because of lack of entitlement for this content."
  • "Either your current organization or user does not have access to this service."

This issue typically occurs when attempting to download components such as the SNMP Management Pack, Content Packs for Aria Operations for Logs, or other integrations for VCF Operations 9.x and Aria Operations 8.x.

Environment

  • Products: VCF Operations 9.x, Aria Operations 8.x, VCF Operations for Logs, VCF Operations for Networks.
  • Services: VCF Solutions Catalog (formerly VMware Marketplace), Broadcom Cloud Services Console.

Cause

This issue occurs because the user account or the associated Organization lacks the necessary "Marketplace" service roles or entitlements within the Broadcom Cloud Services Console.

Resolution

Step 1: Contact Your Organization Owner

Access to the VCF Solutions Catalog is managed through the Broadcom Cloud Services Console. If you encounter a '403 No Access' error, your Organization Owner must assign the Marketplace service role to your account.

Step 2: Force Authentication

If you have the necessary roles but still encounter a 403 error, follow these steps to force a fresh login:

  1. Log in directly to the Broadcom Cloud Services Console - Services.
  2. Locate and launch the VMware Marketplace (VCF Solutions Catalog) tile.
  3. Once the catalog page loads, click the Sign In button at the top right of the page to manually authenticate your session.

Step 3: Contact Broadcom Support (GCA)

If the "403 No Access" error persists after following Step 2, contact the Global Customer Assistance (GCA) team to verify your site entitlements and Marketplace enablement.
