We have quite a few SMPTLIB relative files that have been left over from installs. CA CSM was used to do the installs and I am wondering if there is a parm that was set to indicate that it should keep these files after an ACCEPT was done.
SMP/E PURGE parm set to NO
Access SMP/E from ISPF. Select these options to find the Cleanup parms for your CSI. From the
SMP/E PRIMARY OPTION MENU panel enter your CSI dataset. Select:
1 ADMINISTRATION - Administer the SMPCSI contents
1 DEFINITION - Define, update, delete, or display zone
definition entries and ZONEDESCRIPTION
subentries, and OPTIONS, UTILITY, DDDEF,
FMIDSET, and ZONESET entries.
Enter ZONE NAME ===>GLOBAL
2 OPTIONS - create or modify OPTIONS entries
Select the name of the options such as CAIOPT.
3 CLEANUP - Modify data related to the SMP/E data set cleanup
operations after SMP/E processing.
PURGE ===> NO (YES or NO, default: YES) Delete the GLOBAL
SYSMOD and SMPPTS MCS entries after ACCEPT
Change PURGE to YES.
