You would like to know if Symantec Protection Engine (SPE) is impacted by CVE-2021-3711.

Environment

SPE 9.2.x

Resolution

SPE is not impacted by CVE-2021-3711 as it does not use the SM2 signature or algorithm.  Additionally SPE uses OpenSSL 1.1.1t.
