Issue/Introduction

The Client wants to know how to send emails when the WA ESP r.12.4 reaches the minimum values of active.appl.gen.notify and active.appl.gen.stop and if are there other way to send any notification by email or by console.

Resolution

To receive an email alert when the number of active application generations reaches the thresholds defined by active.appl.gen.notify and active.appl.gen.stop, please follow these steps:

1. Follow the instructions in the product documentation under the "Configure the Email Settings" section.
2. Locate the field labeled: "Email address server sends administrative email to".
3. Enter the email address(es) you wish to notify. You can specify multiple addresses by separating each with a comma.
4. For the changes to take effect, you must restart the dSeries DE Server.
