Issue/Introduction

• After following the steps from the document below: Configure a Log Provider in VMware Cloud Director, the edge logs from ESXI that hosts the NSX manager are not displayed in Aria Operations for Logs.
  
  
• On ESXI that hosts the NSX manager, the log /var/log/dfwpktlogs.log file is empty.

Aria Operations for Logs 8.18.x

 

Resolution

Enable INFO level login on target ESXI, use a reference to the NSX link documentation:  Configure Remote Logging
