Issue/Introduction
The Database Management Solutions for Db2 for z/OS Xmanager started task failed with the following messages:
CSAAPICM: Parmlib DDNAME not found (PTIPARM)
PXM0132 Xmanager cannot start because CAIRIM is not available. Start CAIRIM and Retry.
It was confirmed that CAIRIM is initialized.
Cause
The problem was caused by the //PTIPARM DD being commented out or missing in the Xmanager JCL.
Resolution
The problem can be resolved by adding the //PTIPARM DD to the Xmanager JCL allocated to hlq.CDBAPARM.
