Issue/Introduction

vSAN disk alerts on ESXi host in vCenter Web Client but on remote console (xClarity, iLO, iDrac, etc) disks appear healthy

Environment

ESXi 7.0.3

Cause

In an OSA vSAN cluster, when cache disk fails, the entire disk group shows as failed.

This knowledge base article can be used to identify and replace the failed disk.

Resolution

Replace the failed cache disk on the host with the failed disk.
