LDAP Sync fails with a timeout exception

Issue/Introduction

We can see the following timeout exception between the ldapsync utility and the Automic Automation Engine

Environment

Automation Engine '21.0.10' and later

Cause

There is a hard coded timeout of 120s. In slower systems or systems with a lot of users, the getuserlist might take a bit longer and the ldapsync will not work in this case.

 

Resolution

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.
