Issue/Introduction

At startup, receiving multiple messages:

RCVPROG 01/28/09.028 14:42:39.32 RCVPROG ISSUED A RECEIVE ON THE PLU 
It looks like there is one message for each virtual terminal defined.

 

Environment

TPX for z/OS

Cause

These messages are issued at startup if you have SRBEXIT=NO set in the TPX majornode for the TPX ACBs.

You may disregard these messages.

Resolution

These are informational only. You will not see these messages if you set up the following:

• Change to SRBEXIT=YES in VTAM APPL
• Set 'VTAM Authorized Path Facility: Y' in SMRT Performance parameters
