Ericsson CNF PCG Application deployment fails with imagepullback error for certain PODs

Issue/Introduction

As per the application vendor Ericsson, certain Database Pods encountering ImagePullBackOff errors are expected to be running before dependent Pods in the Init state can proceed. These image pull failures are causing downstream dependency failures, preventing the overall application startup sequence from completing successfully.

Cause

 CNF CSAR not compliant with minimum recommended requirement to include the harbor port numbers such as 80, 443, 8080.Missing port number are causing the image pullback error.

Resolution

Workaround:

• Set the harbor for PCG project as public instead of private.

Resolution:

• Permanent solution is to comply the CSAR of the application to include the Harbor Port Numbers as per recommendation in Broadcom TCA Documentation referenced below
