Issue/Introduction

Bitnami virtual machines (OVAs) are no longer freely available for download through the VMware Marketplace for individual users. Access to these images is now limited to VMware customers.

Environment

vSphere Supervisor

Cause

For vSphere Supervisor deployment in air-gapped environments, access to a container registry is required to host necessary supervisor services components (e.g., Harbor, Contour and Consumption Interface).
Bitnami Harbor provides a reliable and self-hosted registry solution that can be deployed as an OVA in offline scenarios.

Resolution

  1. Browse to https://bitnami.com/stack/harbor/virtual-machine
  2. Select on Download OVA
  3. You will be redirected to the VCF Marketplace https://vcf.broadcom.com/vsc/services/details/harbor-singlevm?slug=true
  4. Select the desired version in the dropdown.
  5. Select on Sign-in the right side corner of the page.
  6. If you already have an account, login to VMware Market Place. If after logging in you do not have access to the Harbor OVA, send an email to [email protected] with your CSP Organization details and organization name for the marketplace team to provide you access.
  7. If you do not have an account, select on Create your Broadcom Account and send an email to [email protected] for the marketplace team to create an CSP Organization for you to gain access to the Harbor OVA.
