"An error occurred while displaying this page" showing in Policy Server AdminUI after upgrade

Issue/Introduction
A parallel upgrade of CA SiteMinder has been performed from version 12.8.7 to 12.9. To do that the Policy Store data has been duplicated following the specifications in the documentation (1)
A new Policy Server and AdminUI has been provisioned pointing to this new Policy Store. However, when trying to access the objects under "OAuth/OpenID Connect" there is an error message
"An error occurred while displaying this page"
displayed, and nothing is shown.
server.log shows errors like the following

Environment
CA SiteMinder 12.9 possibly applicable to other upgrades under similar circumstances
Cause
One of the steps in the parallel upgrade as indicated in the documentation (1) is to extend the XPS schema to take care of new objects which may have been defined in this newer version of the product
If this is not properly done or it does not complete correctly those objects may be missing leading to the error message indicated
Resolution
Please reapply
XPSDDInstall <siteminder_home>\xps\dd\SmMaster.xdd
and
XPSImport <siteminder_home>\db\smpolicy.xml
(and XPSDDInstall IdmSmObjects.xdd if necessary)
on the new policy server pointing to the new cloned Policy Store, and restart the policy server service
