ACF2 SDSF Errors 'ISF452E SDSFAUX rc 0x00000008' / 'HSF0037W SAF Class SDSF'

Issue/Introduction

When starting the new SDSFAUX task for SDSF getting messages:

HSF0037W SAF Class SDSF not RACLISTed
ISF452E SDSFAUX return code 0x00000008, reason code 0x00360806

What should be done with ACF2?

Resolution

If only HSF0037W  warning message is displayed in the job output, this message can be ignored. It appears SDSF code cannot identify if an ACF2 rule is resident or not.

If there are other errors related to resource violations,

e.g. ISF452E SDSFAUX communications failed, return code 0x00000008, reason code 0x00360806. Not authorized for request .

The ACFRPTRV report should be reviewed to see if there are any violations related to SDSF and appropriate rules should be written for the SDSF resource class resource ISF.CONNECT.xxxx

 

Additional Information

The ISF.CONNECT.xxxx validation is issued via RACROUTE REQUEST=FASTAUTH,CLASS=SDSF  call. For this process to work successfully, the rules and directory for the type must be globally resident. 

By default the TYPE associated with CLASS SDSF is SAF. Therefore be sure that the CONTROL(GSO) INFODIR entry for SAF is as follows..
