It is not possible to access the Usage Meter 9.0 UI using a secondary NIC IP address.
This applies to Usage Meter 9.0 deployments with a multi-NIC configuration.
In Usage Meter 9.0, attempting to access the browser UI via a secondary NIC IP address will result in a redirect to the primary NIC IP address (or to the FQDN if it is resolvable from within the Usage Meter appliance). The primary NIC is defined as the one with the default gateway, which is associated with the system's default route as determined by the routing table.
This behavior is expected. To access the browser UI, you must use the primary NIC IP address.
If you wish to access the Usage Meter's UI from a secondary NIC IP address, you would need to modify your network configuration to assign the default gateway to that secondary NIC, thereby making it the primary NIC.
