Issue/Introduction

• "Unknown" Objects shown for "Replications World" in Integrations in Aria Operations Inventory.
  
  
  
• Logs from /logs/collector.log are shown below: 
  [Collector worker thread 10]  com.vmware.vr.vrops.VrAdapter.onCollect - Failed to collect data 
com.vmware.vim.binding.vmodl.fault.SecurityError: Access to perform the operation was denied.

 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.X
VMware vSphere Replication 8.X

Cause

Insufficient permission to the account, used for Integration of vSphere Replication with Aria Operations, required for Data Collection.  

Resolution

• The minimum role required to collect data is the VRM replication viewer.
