Issue/Introduction

Question:

Is there a way I can cross-reference a program/package name to its owning CA Database Management Solutions for DB2 for z/OS product?

Answer:

Each CA Database Management Solutions for DB2 for z/OS product has a correlating three or four byte product acronym.

Within the highlevel.CDBASKL0 (formerly SPFSLIB) library exist members with this acronym suffixed with either 'PACK' or 'PKG'.

For example: CA Plan Analyzer, PPA is the acronym, and the member PPAPACK in the .CDBASKL0 will contain the programs/packages used by the product.
