OC alarm console "Last occurrence" doesn't actually seem to be an occurrence of the alarm

Issue/Introduction

1. How can the "Last Occurrence" be a different date from "Creation Date & Time" when "Event Count" = 1?

2. Event Count Filtering doesn't work.  Equals to should be a choice, and <= 1 apparently matches 2 as well.

• DX UIM 23.4 CU3

Resolution

The Last Occurrence column in OC alarm console will be updated when the following operations has been made for any alarm

• New Alarm
  • When a new alarm is created
  • Last Occurrence is set to current time or nimts
  • Event_count is initialized to 0
• Alarm Acknowledgment
  • When an alarm is acknowledged by a user
  • Last Occurrence is updated but Event_count remains unchanged
• Severity Level Changes
  • When alarm severity changes
  • Event_count is reset to 0 rather than incremented
  • Last Occurrence is updated to reflect the change
  • Note : This will be affected only if the key reset_suppkey_on_severity is set to yes under setup section
• Alarm Assignment Changes
  • When an existing alarm is assigned to someone
  • Updates Last Occurrence and assignment fields without affecting Event_count
• Note Addition
  • When notes are added to an existing alarm
  • Updates Last Occurrence and notes count without affecting Event_count
• Visibility Changes
  • When an existing alarm visibility is modified
  • Updates Last Occurrence and visible flag without affecting Event_count
• Custom Field Updates
  • When custom fields (custom_1 through custom_5) are modified to an existing alarm
  • Updates Last Occurrence while Event_count remains unchanged
• External ID Updates
  • When external ID references are modified for an existing alarm
  • Updates Last Occurrence without affecting suppression count
• Policy ID Changes
  • When policy associations are modified
  • Updates Last Occurrence while maintaining the same Event_count
• Internationalization Updates
  • When i18n tokens or data are modified for an existing alarm
  • Updates Last Occurrence without changing Event_count
