Issue/Introduction

Does the Applications Manager Java compatibility apply to only the master and remote agents, or does it also apply to the Java client (GUI)?

For example, if Applications Manager version 9.6 is using Java 17 or 21, can the Java client use Java 8 or 11?

Resolution

Applications Manager compatibility with Java applies to the Applications Manager master, remote agent, and Java client.

Since Applications Manager 9.6 is compatible with only Java 17 and 21, this applies to all components including the Java client.
