Issue/Introduction

CEMETOM started task fails with:

+Error opening '/usr/lpp1/CA/cem/tomcat/logs/j2z.log', rc=111, rsn=0xEF086015

during Tomcat startup

Resolution

'EF086015' indicates the user is not authorized.

Owner of the log file in USS/OMVS was not the CEMETOM started task acid,

The USS file permission was 755, which only allows the owner to update the file.

After changing the owner for the log file to the CEMETOM started task acid, the problem was resolved.
