How can I correct a "PDT0636 CONTROL FILE DATASET NAME INFORMATION IS NOT AVAILABLE" message?

Question: 

This document states how to handle a "PDT0636 CONTROL FILE DATASET NAME INFORMATION IS NOT AVAILABLE" message.

Environment:  

z/OS 1.11 and above.

Answer: 

This error can be corrected by doing the following:

1) Go to your DSNAMExx member in your <High.Level>.CDBAPARM library. Attain the name of your PXMPARM library

2) In your PXMPARM library, confirm that a DTCFPARM member exist. If it does contact DB2 Support. If it doesn't exist proceed to step 3.

3) Go to the Detector Main menu. Enter DTCF on the Option line

4) On the screen that follows (DETECTOR Create Control File Display), enter a file name at the top Dataset Name prompt. The bottom Dataset Name prompt should have your PXMP library from steps 1 & 2 above. Press enter to create a Control File

5) Recycle your Xmanager
