Issue/Introduction

We failed over from De primary to secondary, jobs are getting stuck in READY state, but after 2 minutes the job executed successfully.  Why did jobs go stay in ready state?

Environment

Workload Automation DE / dSeries 12.x or above

Cause

When DE failover is performed, the agents have to be updated about the new DE Manager address.  This can take some time depending on long it takes to complete the change role.  It can take a few minutes for all the agents to start communicating to new active server.

Resolution

Once failover has completed, the agent should responded back in timely manner.
