How to Update the email address of Internal API users

Issue/Introduction

How to change the email address of the following users.

  • MCApiUser
  • CATapApiUser
  • DSApiUser
  • LDAPApiUser

Environment

All supported versions of CA PAM

Resolution

The initial email address for the above users is set to the same email address as that of the super user email address, but the email for these accounts does not get updated when the super user email address is changed. These email address are not used in the product.

The email address for the user 'CATapApiUser' can be done from the CA PAM UI.

To change the email address for rest of three user's, please open a support case with the Broadcom CA PAM Support team. The support team will be able to connect to CA PAM server and execute the required MySQL commands to update / change the E-mail address of these accounts.
