Environment

VCF Usage Meter 9.0

Cause

The certificate CN and Subject Alternative Name (SAN) for the custom certificates must match the hostname of the VCF usage meter appliance.

Resolution

Renew the certificate by following the below steps:
  1. Take a snapshot of the Usage Meter appliance.
  2. Update the hostname in /etc/hosts file using vi editor.
  3. Replace the Usage Meter certificate by following the document VCF Usage Meter Certificate Management
