Cloud Director UI Pages take 120 Seconds to load when using Multisite

Issue/Introduction

After setting up Multisite, or after some time using Multisite, notice the Cloud Director Site slow to load and taking at least 120 seconds for each page.

The following log entries may be seen with the highlighted values:

Note, timing is 120508 ms, translating to slightly longer than 120 seconds

Environment

Cloud Director 10.6.x

Cause

The Multisite Site is having an issue communicating.

The following can be seen in the logs:

javax.ws.rs.ProcessingException: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: SocketTimeoutException invoking https://[Multisite VCD FQDN]/api/session: Read timed out

Resolution

To temporarily resolve the issue you can remove the multisite association, or resolve the connection issue between the sites causing the Read timed out error.
