Issue/Introduction

 Question:

 Is there a way to set Workstation and Webview consoles to the same home dashboard?

 

 Environment:

 CA APM 10.x

 

Answer:

  For Workstation Users: You could configure this property: 

  By default it is set to "An Introduction to APM"

  introscope.workstation.dashboard.home.dashboard=An Introduction to APM

  or

  To change your home dashboard:

1. Select Workstation > User Preferences.
2. Select a dashboard by doing one of the following:
   • Select a dashboard from the drop-down list.
   • Click Choose, enter a search string to narrow the selection, and select from the remaining list.
3. Click Apply.

 

  For Webview Users:  We recommend to bookmark the URL of the Dashboard in your Web Browser, and use that as the starting point when launching the Webview. (Unfortunately, there is no mechanism on the Webview currently to save a home dashboard).
