Issue/Introduction
- In Aria Automation Assembler / Service Broker Infrastructure tab > Network Profiles
- For a particular profile, in its Networks tab there is "Missing Network" shown for some port groups / subnets / wires
- No other information is listed about the network
Environment
- VMware Aria Automation 8.x
Cause
- The network does not exist in the Automation database under the ID referenced by the network profile
- This is expected behaviour where the network has been deleted or recreated on the infrastructure level: NSX or vSphere
- When Aria Automation detects the network is gone, it is removed from its DB and so the reference does not point to a network
Resolution
- Where the network has been deleted on the infrastructure, it is safe to remove the Missing Network(s) from the Network Profile
- If any network has been recreated, you will need to add this to the profile as it is seen as a separate object by Automation
