ServiceNow Management Pack is unable to populate CI information to ServiceNow CMDB (Aria Operations)

Issue/Introduction

The Aria Operations Management Pack for ServiceNow is unable to populate CI information to the ServiceNow CMDB. When selecting the default templates, such as moid_populate_only.json found in /usr/lib/vmware-vcops/user/plugins/inbound/servicenow_adapter3/conf/config_samples, the error below appears: 

ERROR
Invalid CMDB Sync Configuration Found 0 Datasources with label and value 'VMwareTVS', element set to 'discovery_source' and table set to 'cmdb_cr'.
This product requires a single 'VMwareTVS' datasource to be present in the 'sys_choice' table.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x
Management Pack for ServiceNow 9.0

Cause

ServiceNow endpoint requires extensive configuration in order for the Management Pack to work correctly.
