Aria Operations Automation Central task is not powering back vm's after vm resize

Issue/Introduction

Automation Central, a resize task partially completed but failed to power on some virtual machines.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.x

Cause

The issue occurred due to failures on the vCenter side. Specifically, the “Set CPU and Memory” action failed for some VMs during the resize process. This was mainly because VMware Tools was either not installed or not running on those VMs.

Resolution

Make sure that VMware Tools is installed and running on all target VMs before initiating a resize task through Automation Central.
