Issue/Introduction

Question: 

Why are the following messages written to the scheduler log file.

log4cxx: No appender could be found for logger (PozFactory).
log4cxx: Please initialize the log4cxx system properly.

 

Environment:  

CA Workload Automation AE instance running under Windows or Unix.

 

Answer: 

 

The messages may occur in the AutoSys logs if/when the application server and/or scheduler lose connectivity with the igateway process. Please check network connectivity between the AutoSys and EEM hosts. Additionally make sure the process igateway is running without errors on the EEM host.
