Third party monitoring solutions continue to trigger alerts and errors for hosts after the hosts have been removed from inventory

Cause

Third party monitoring solutions can use vCenter Tags as part of their monitoring and inventory management process. 
Additionally, stale tags can cause alerts in vCenter environment.

Resolution

Please review the vCenter for any stale or out of date tags and delete the tags from the environment.
