Issue/Introduction

  • The Automic Engine is running v24
  • We have two machines running

               v21 agent with v21 service manager and 

               v24 agent with v24 service manager

  •  The v21 service manager allows awi to start agents with "use_capki=y" in the ServiceManager ini
  • The v24 service manager allows awi to start agents only after setting   "use_capki=n" in the ServiceManager ini

Cause

The service manager had old CA.PKI version (5.2.5) with  caller (automic).

Resolution

We uninstalled the obsolete CA.PKI, installed the latest version 5.2.15 (with caller UC4PV24)

Now it works with use_capki=y
