Issue/Introduction

• Checking compatibility by selecting Host--> Updates--> Hardware Compatibility it results in below error:

• Checking vCenter /var/log/vmware/vmware-updatemgr/vum-server/hcl_python_lib.log reports below error:

Cause

This issue occurs if the CPU ID generations are incompatible. This information comes directly from the hardware. 

Resolution

Engage the respective Hardware vendors.
