Not able to create a working path in Appneta since it uses blocked ICMP protocol

Issue/Introduction

Not able to create a working path in Appneta since it uses the ICMP protocol which is blocked by Firewall.

Cannot change the Network Protocol used by the Path directly so how can this be reconfigured to use TCP (which is not blocked)?

Environment

AppNeta Network Monitoring

Cause

The policy assigned to the path is just Default, so ICMP is used. 

Resolution

After assigning a Policy where: Monitoring Preferences -> Network Monitoring = TCP

Then the paths should work.
