Mounted vCenter iso files in CD-ROM, but cannot find mounted files in VAMI Web page

Issue/Introduction

You download VMware-VCSA-all-7.0.3-24614210.iso file from the Broadcom support portal, and mount the iso file to the vCenter VM CD-ROM.

However, checking in the Web page, you cannot find the mounted files.

Environment

• vCenter 7.0.x
• vCenter 8.0.x

Cause

• The filename VMware-VCSA-all-7.0.3-24614210.iso is for full installation, not for upgrade.
• The filename for upgrade should be: VMware-vCenter-Server-Appliance-7.0.3.02300-24614210-patch-FP.iso

Resolution

1. Download the iso file for upgrade.
2. When downloading files from the Broadcom support portal, there are two options:
   • Products
   • Solutions
3. For upgrade, choose "Solutions", then it will redirect you to the upgrade iso file download link.
   • The iso file name should contain:  patch-FP
